A Hike For All Ages!

Taking place on the South Downs, Ashdown 30 is a one-day, competitive incident hike organised by the 1st Buxted (O’Brien’s Own) Scout Group. This event is a walking challenge, as well as a test of navigation, route finding and teamwork for all Squirrels, Beavers, Cubs, Scouts and Explorers.

Along the route, teams will encounter a series of checkpoints where they will be faced with teamwork, skills or knowledge-based challenges. Teams can collect points depending on how quickly they walk between checkpoints and on how they present themselves and perform at incidents.
